Batasia loop
Description
The Batasia Loop is a rolled railway created to lower the gradient of the ascent of the Darjeeling Himalayan Railway in Darjeeling district of West Bengal, India. At this point, the track is rolling around over itself through a tunnel and over a hilltop. It was approved in 1919.

Things to enjoy
- There are seating areas as well to experience the views. The whole area along with the gardens and an approach bridge that leads to the garden is about 50,000 square feet. It has been covered with grass and beautified with both seasonal and permanent flowers and shrubs.
